In Ward 20 of Scarborough Southwest, we're committed to being the voice of the people. Our platform comprises 11 key points designed to address the pressing issues in our community. In Ward 20 of Scarborough Southwest, we face urgent challenges – drug addiction, prostitution, gangs, shootings, homelessness, and more. It's time to take immediate action to make a change. Scarborough Southwest is in need of help, and we can't afford to wait.

We’re committed to a robust infrastructure plan that ensures the harmonious lifestyle and community growth you deserve. Our plan includes:

Real estate developments and housing projects will be encouraged, with developers contributing to the area's infrastructure.
4) **Parks and Recreational**
We're committed to keeping our parks and recreational areas clean and safe for all residents.
5) **Addressing Rent Increases:**
We'll work to address rent increases and advocate for affordable housing to ensure that living in Scarborough Southwest remains accessible to all.
6) **Ensuring Food Security:**
Food security is essential, and we'll support initiatives that provide access to nutritious and affordable food for our community.
7) **Enhancing Parks and Recreation:**
We'll focus on enhancing parks and recreational opportunities, providing safe and enjoyable spaces for residents of all ages.
8) **Increasing Safety - Public Safety and Support Programs:**
To address crime, we'll expand the Toronto Police Neighbourhood Program and work on reducing gun violence.
9) **Supporting our first Responders**
We'll provide more support to our first responders and cooperate with all levels of government and law enforcement officials to ensure the safety of our community.
10) **Mental Health and Community Support Programs:**
Our priorities include fighting for mental health and community support programs to help youth, adults, and seniors recover from mental health issues.

We are unwavering in our commitment to saving public transit. We will fortify our public transportation system by aggressively expanding TTC bus routes and bolstering the presence of TTC enforcement officers at critical hubs – Kennedy, Warden, and Victoria Park subway stations. This isn’t just about convenience; it’s about ensuring the safety and accessibility of public transit for all our residents. Your daily commute should be a seamless journey, and we’re dedicated to making it a reality.
